Ok, this new espresso color Weber Genesis 310 has made me a convert of yet another brand, Weber. Kudos ladies and gents for your stellar product. Assembling it was a breeze, the pieces were so precisely manufactured that it just flowed together in a completely logical progression, even with 43 unique parts to throw together, it was a snap. Firing it up has been a joy as well. Super simple, no more fire sticks to deal with, just a simple push button, go and your off. Cast iron grill plates, come on … am I dreaming?

So today I grilled grapefruit. Two words: yum. oh and yum again. I tried just putting some granulated sugar on each half, putting them open side up on medium high, in the center with either side burner on low for about 5 minutes. After that I flipped them so they were open side down to seal in everything. I may try the reverse next time, but I wanted to make sure the sugar actually made its way into the fruit. Successfully grilled yet another fruit. Do yourself a favor, and give it a shot. Your breakfast will thank you for being greatly improved … and, you get to grill in the morning! What’s not to love about that?
