A puddle under The Viaduct littered with brilliantly yellow leaves at varying levels of submergence trumped the half dozen other shots I had lined up. Only a matter of time before we are left with just the puddles. Ripples will dance around on them from the coming months of celestial drops. For now I’m grateful for the splashes of color that infuse the asphalt ponds.

As the sun sets on The Viaduct, I’m trying to capture as many photos as possible to remember its profound impact on our city. Easily the greatest view on a sunset drive — a few stories up, sailing past boats on one side and offices on the other — you feel like your own personal highway was carved out of the sky for you and those you’re sharing the magical moment with with.

Viaduct, your light play and views will live on long after the twisted rebar has been torn from your skeleton and repurposed or landfilled. Spun and I are sad to see you go. We’ve always been on your side.

Big fan of both of these artists. Great stencil idea, hope to see it around more than just under the viaduct. As for Mango Mob, I’ve seen some of his/her/their work around and I’m really digging on this one the most thus far.
