If you haven’t already noticed, I’m a fan of juxtapositions that have repetitive form. For example the ivy roots and feather today. Both have one main structure that tons of little fractal-esque bits flowing off of them. What I enjoy most is that one is gripping so tightly to the brick that it would take some time to remove it all … even then, there would likely be damage done to the structure and remnants of its existence. The feather, on the other hand was swept up in the wind and became snagged in a cobweb. Another light gust and it will likely make its way to another portion of the city for a child or reach for or photographer to speculate the meaning of its existence.
