I’m growing really fond of these puddle photos. Today was a tough one. I shot a dozen photos or so all over the city. Some time lapse, lots of HDR, a few others that would meld the two, but nothing jumped out at me. After walking through the the Waterfront Park admiring the loons just off the pier, I saw some great puddles next to the Seattle Aquarium. After a few shots I was stoked to have wandered around so much on my way in. Some quick touch-ups with Photoshop Express to flip the image and adjust saturation & exposure for two shots, an HDR composite and then trim in Pxlr-o-matic and voila!
Damn I love my city. Look at her. So shiny, so crisp, yet still a bit grimy and worn when you look at her in the right soggy reflection. You’re the best, Seattle.
