I shot this photo this morning on my way into the Seattle Interactive Conference, aka sic://2011

I was conflicted in posting it after hearing Cal from Wexley School for Girls say at the end of his brilliant seminar, “be the best part of someone’s day.”

The image is cartoony but still a depiction of our city, the suicide capital of the US. Had the little bug eyed dinosaur not been at the top I would have probably posted up the photo of Sir Mix-a-Lot I got from the lunch session. But the cuteness of the little guy made it worthwhile. Likewise, having it on a new parking meter seemed fitting given the Space Needle in the background.

Great conference. Rand Fishkin, Cal McAllister, Sean O’Driscoll and Matt Mulder from Digital Kitchen made the conference completely worth attending. Thank you.
