There’s a three column sculpture down on the waterfront just a block or so from my office that I’ve always enjoyed. What I enjoy the most is the way it has been constructed, intricate rivets … thousands of them … hold tiny pieces of oxidized copper together in an undulating, repetitive form. For a waterfront condo-plex-sculpture, it’s not too shabby, in fact I’d say it’s held my attention long enough to become riveting.
